Preserving Your Wedding Memories ...

Besides the memories and the photos, another thing that remains after your wedding day is your wedding gown. It will be a special reminder of your wedding for years to come if you remember a few easy items:

1. Have your dress professionally dry cleaned as soon after the wedding as possible.
2. Have a family member or wedding attendant be responsible for taking your dress to the cleaners while you are on your honeymoon, if possible.
3. Tell the dry cleaner about any stains or loose stitching. Look inside the dress for stains as well. Makeup may have come off when you put the dress on and took it off.
4. Your dress should be stored in an acid-free box.
5. Store your dress; place it in a dry and temperate place.

Following these steps will ensure that your wedding dress is preserved for years to come.
