Blending Religions at a Wedding ...

Planning a wedding ceremony can be complicated. Planning a ceremony where more than one religion is represented can be a nightmare. But it doesn't have to be if you and your fiance are flexible and respectful.

Communication is vital in this situation between you and your fiance as well as with the clergy who will perform your ceremony.

When you choose your clergy, talk to him or her about what you would like from a ceremony. It may be possible to find one officiant who can include elements from both your religions or you may wish to have two officiants, one from each religion.

If you are having two officiants, meet with both at the same time to plan the ceremony. Ask if there are religious requirements that will need to be included in the ceremony as you plan. Including an explanation of those rituals in the program will help your guests understand the meaning.

As your wedding photographers, we'd like to know in advance of the religious elements incorporated into your ceremony as well. That way, we can be prepared to capture all the special moments throughout the ceremony in digital photos that will last a lifetime.

When you call, please be sure and ask for our special report "The Seven Secrets You Must Know When Choosing Your Wedding Photographer!"
