Boutonnieres ...

Knowing who should receive boutonnieres and how they are traditionally designed will make meeting with the florist to plan the flowers uncomplicated.

Here are some ideas to help:

*  The groom's boutonniere is a worn above his heart and typically includes at least one of the flowers from the bride's bouquet.

*  The groomsmen's boutonnieres should compliment the bridesmaids' bouquets but don't need to match exactly. If they contain one of the same flowers or are in the same color palate, they will coordinate.

*  Boutonnieres should be given to the fathers and grandfathers of the bride and groom. They should also be given to any special males the bride and groom wish to honor.
